A SAFE HAVEN for Australian Fauna and Flora

Rocky Creek Wildlife Refuge is situated in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales. It is a designated wildlife refuge under the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Act. Sandra and Jeremy are both licensed to rescue, rehabilitate and return to the wild injured and orphaned native fauna. Rocky Creek provides a safe release site for the animals that come into their care. Jeremy is currently regenerating the property with native flora from this area.
Animals come to us in a variety of ways. Many are car accident victims or have injuries acquired through interaction with humans. Otheres have been attacked by domestic animals and need to spend time with us whilst still under veterinary care.
The Upper Hunter is in a coal mining area and as these mines come closer each year we endeavour to provide refuge for the vast amount of flora and fauna that is native to this area.
